Rhodo Redux

Today is an excellent example of why I’m grumpy, grumpy, grumpy about spring in New England.

On Sunday it was close to 70 degrees, and I was walking around in a sleeveless shirt.

This morning, it was about 33 degrees and snowing.

Not snowing heavily, true, but snowing.  And those of you who remember what you learned in 3rd grade know that at 33 degrees, the snow melts before it hits the ground.

But still.

Nine years in New England, and every year when we have that oddball 70 degree day, I think, Yes!  This year we will have a real spring!  Yes!

And then it snows and crushes all my hopes like a bug.  Like a miserable little bug, I tell you.
