The Farm (Shares) Report, 08/15/06 – Ratatouille!

Looking at last week’s farm shares – tomatoes, summer squash, eggplant, green bell peppers, and basil (plus mizuna and something else that escapes me) – I understood how ratatouille was invented.  Some Provençal housewife stood in her garden one summer afternoon and said, “What’s ripe, anyway?”
