Once Again, Too True

The comment about East St. Louis is priceless (even if it is a bit unfair to equate it with Baltimore, which is in many ways a lovely town).  East St. Louis is a city that has been plagued by garbage strikes, fire department strikes, and depending on which version of the story you believe, either lost its City Hall in a lawsuit or sold it because the city was insolvent.

And you know you’re a mess if you’re featured in a Tom Waits song.
